Where does Haute Chef TX provide service?
Based in San Antonio, Texas, we provide on-location catering services and an elevated private chef experience in San Antonio, Austin, Boerne, and the surrounding areas. Events outside of these areas may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and special considerations and travel costs will need to be discussed in detail. We typically work in homes or vacation rentals with well-appointed kitchens for intimate gatherings.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, or special needs?
We take pride in creating a wonderful experience for everyone. Please ensure that you adequately communicate any special needs or restrictions so that we can create a beautiful menu for your event. Depending on the circumstances, we can cater the entire menu to those needs or we can create something special just for specific individuals, as appropriate to the situation and budget.
What is the client responsible for providing?
We require access to a [mostly empty] refrigerator, a functional sink, and access to the garbage bin(s). Depending on the event, we may need the stove or oven. This will be discussed during your consultation. Generally speaking, we will arrive with all food items, knives, flatware, glassware, etc. and we ask for a window of time prior to the guests arrival in order to conduct necessary food and area prep work.
Do you provide cooking lessons?
For those with an interest in cooking and/or learning to cook, guests are always welcome to ask questions, and for certain events we can discuss hands-on experience options if that is something you are looking for. Everything we do is custom designer to cater to you.
How do I book my event with Haute Chef TX?
First we ask that you reach out so we can discuss all the particulars of your event, ballpark budget, and get a sense for what you’d like, and then we will work on a personalized menu for you. We require a 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract to reserve your event with us, with the final balance due 48hrs before the event.
