Our Story
Where It All Began
Haute Chef TX offers a custom-tailored personal chef experience for luxurious, intimate gatherings. Our purpose is to provide elevated dining in the privacy of your own home or vacation rental. When you hire Haute Chef TX, you don’t have to worry about anything – we bring everything we will need to provide a memorable meal for you: ingredients, wine pairings, cookware, dinnerware for each course, linens, even service staff…
We got our start, ironically, during the pandemic. After over a year of self-isolating, some of our past clients and good friends asked if we would be willing to host a party with their family and friends who had all been quarantining and desperately needed to get together, but they wanted it to be something really special. And so Haute Chef TX was born, something we had previously discussed as an idea was now a reality.

How Does it Work?
After an initial conversation about your event and your preferences, any dietary restrictions, allergies, and budget, we will design a custom menu created just for you, and then we will have a follow-up conversation to discuss any requested changes. Whether you’re looking for a 3-course meal, 6-course meal, or something more relaxed and family-style, we’ve got you covered.
We bring our expertise and creativity to clients seeking an exceptional dining experience. We will work closely with you to understand your preferences, dietary requirements, and vision for your meal, and then craft a unique and personalized menu that meets those needs.
We draw inspiration from different cuisines, ingredients, and flavor profiles to create meals that are both delicious and visually stunning. We understand that dining is not just about the food, but also about the overall experience, and we take great care to ensure that every aspect of the event is enjoyable and memorable for guests.

Sous Chef
Kurtis plays a key role in the smooth operation of Haute Chef TX, from managing bookings and logistics to contributing to menu planning, food preparation, and mise en place. His support both in the test kitchen and during events ensures everything runs seamlessly, making him an essential part of our culinary team.

Helen serves as a trusted second pair of hands for Marci, specializing in pastry / dessert creations and providing essential day-of support.
